Happy New Year to all of you.. Today I am going in introduce my favorite photographer JIM Zuckerman.

Jim Zuckerman left his medical studies in 1970 to turn to his love of photography into a career.

He has lectured and taught creative photography at many universities and private schools, including UCLA, Kent State University, the Hallmark Institute of Photography, and the Plam Beach Photographic Center. He also has led both domestic and international photo tours for 33 years to Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and the America Southwest. He has been to 72 countries, searching for the most compelling subject in the world to photograph. Jim Zuckerman was a contributing editor to Photographic Magazine for 32 years. He now writes for Shutterbug Magazine. His images, articles and photo features have been published in hundreds of books and magazines including several Time-Life Books, Life Magazine, publications of the National Geographic Society, outdoor Photographer, Omni Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Scince Fiction Age, Australia's Photo World and Greece's option. He is the author of thirteen books on photography.

Lenses

Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 ll Zoom Lens

Designed for use with digital SLRs that have smaller APS-C sensor; full-frame equivalent is 28-88mm; small, light and good travel lens; good image quality for surprisingly low price.

Canon EF 50mm F/1.8 ll Prime Lens

This is the lightest EF lens of all at a mere 4.6 oz. (130g). Compact and high-performance, standard lens. Its Gaussian optics provide sharp delineation from near to far focusing distances. The color balance is excellent for a standard lens.

Canon EF 100mm F/2.8 Macro USM

The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens is an excellent macro lens - and may be Canon's most fun per dollar lens. This is the lens I most frequently recommend for someone starting out in macro photography.

The Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens is a medium-small lens and is rather light in weight. This is a very comfortable-to-carry-and-use lens. Build quality is decent but not as solid as Canon's L Series lenses.

Canon EF 14mm f/2.8 L II USM Lens

the Canon EF 14mm f/2.8 L II USM Lens has a high build qualitythat feels great in use. The non-extending 3.1" x 3.7" (80mm x 90mm)(dxl) size and 22.7 oz (645g) weight combine to make this a very a nice handling lens. A bulging convex front lens element and a built-in metal lens hood are identity features of this lens. Because of these features, a normal flat lens cap cannot be used (more later) and a front filter cannot be mounted on this lens. A rear gelatin filter holder is provided. These filters are required to be cut to size and installed with the lens dismounted. Circular polarizer filters cannot be used.

Today I am going to share with you all about what a beginners should know before taking a proper photo.

How to hold a digital camera

1 of the most common problems that many new digital photographers have is 'camera shake' where images seem blurry - usually because the camera was not held still enough while the shutter was depressed. This is especially common in shots taken in low light situation where the shutter is open for longer periods of time. Even the smallest movemont of the camera can cause it and the only real way to climinate it is with a tripod.

1. Use your right hand to grip the right hand end of the camera. Your forefinger should sit lightly above the shutter release, your other threee fingers curling around the front of the camera. Your right thumb grips onto the back of the camera. Most cameras these days have some sort of grip and even impressions for where fingers should go so this should feel natural. Use a strong grip with your right hand but don't grip it so tightly that you end up shaking the camera.

2. The positioning of your left hand will depend upon your camera but in general it should support the weight of the camera and will either sit underneath the camera or under/around a lens if you have a DSLR.

3. If you're shooting using the view finder to line up your shot you'll have the camera nice and close into your body which will add extra stability but if you're using LCD make sure you don't hold your camera too far away from you. Tuck your into your elbows into your sides and lean the camera out alittle from your face(around 30cm). Alternatively use the viewfinder if it's not too small or difficult to see through.

4. Add extrs stability by leaning against a soild object like a wall or a tree or by sitting or kneeling down. If you have to stand and don't have anything to lean on for extra support put your feet shoulder width apart to give yourself a steady stance. The stiller you can keep your body the stiller the camera will be.

Gripping a camera in this way will allow you flexibility of being able to line up shots quickly but will also help you to hold still for the crucial moment of your shutter being open.

Another quick tip - before you take your shot take a gentle but deep breath, hold it, then take the shot and exhale. The other method people use is the exact opposite - exhale and before inhaling again take the shot. It's amazing how much a body rises and falls simply by breathing - being conscious of it can give you an edge.

Of course each person will have their own little tecniques that they are more comfortable with and ultimately you need to find what works best for you - but in the early days of familiarizing yourself with your digital camera it's worth considerinf your technique.

Today I am going to set my goal to how to use a cannon 40D DSLR camera. Using DSLR camera can make alot of effect on the photo itself which make me wanted to have this kind of techni when I taking a photo.

DSLR - Digital Single-lens reflex camera

History of DSLR camera

On August 25, 1981 Sony unveiled a prototype of the first still video camera, the Sony Mavica. This camera was an analog electornic camera that featured interchangeable lenses and a SLR viewfinder.

At Photokina in 1986, Nikon revealed a prototype analog electronic still SLR camera, the Nikon Svc, a precursor to the digital SLR. The prototype body shared many features with the N8008.

In 1991, Kodak released the first commercially available digital SLR, the Kodak DCS-100. It consisted of a modified Nikon F3 SLR body, modified drive unit, and an external storage unit connected via cable. The 1.3megapixal camera cost approximately US$30,000. This was followed by the Kodak DCS-200 with integrated storage.

Over the next decade, DSLRs have been released by various companies, inculding Canon, Nikon, Kodak, Pentax, Olympus, Panasonic, Samsung, Fujifilm and Sigma, with higher resolution and lower prices.

In 1999, Nikon announced the Nikon D1, the first DSLR to turly compete with, and begin to replace, film camerasa in the professional photojournalism and sports photography fields. This camera was able to use current autofocus Nikkor lenses available at that time for the Nikon Film series cameras, and was also able to utilize the older Nikon and similar, independent mount lenses designed for those cameras. A combination of price, speed and image quality was the beginning of the end of 35mm film for these markets.

In January 2000, Fujifilm announced the FinePix S1 Pro, the first DSLR marketed to non-professionals.

In November 2001, Canon released its 4.1 megapixel EOS-1D, the brand first professional digital body.

In 2003, Canon introduced the 6.3 megapixel EOS 300D SLR camera with an MSRP of US$999,

directed at the consumer market. Its popularity encourage other manufacturers to produce affordable digital SLR camera, lowering entry costs and allowing more amateur photographers ro purchase DSLRs.

In 2003, the number of meapixels in imaging seneors have increased steadily, with most companies focusing on build quailty, high ISO performance, speed of focus, higher frame rates, the elimination of digital 'nosie' produced by the imaging sensor, and price reduction to lure new customers.

Therefore, I am a Canon fan as they are the ones who first produce the DSLR body. As for myself I am now learning how to properly use the EOS 40D. Stay tune for more update.

Michael Jackson, the 'King of Pop', dies at age 50, 2009

LOS ANGELES – Michael Jackson, the sensationally gifted child star who rose to become the "King of Pop" and the biggest celebrity in the world only to fall from his throne in a freakish series of scandals, died Thursday. He was 50. Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. Ed Winter, the assistant chief coroner for Los Angeles County, confirmed his office had been notified of the death and would handle the investigation.

The circumstances of Jackson's death were not immediately clear. Jackson was not breathing when Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to a call at his Los Angeles home about 12:30 p.m., Capt. Steve Ruda told the Los Angeles Times. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center, Ruda told the newspaper.

Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long, bizarre, sometimes farcical decline from his peak in the 1980s, when he was popular music's premier all-around performer, a uniter of black and white music who shattered the race barrier on MTV, dominated the charts and dazzled even more on stage.

His 1982 album "Thriller" — which included the blockbuster hits "Beat It," "Billie Jean" and "Thriller" — remains the biggest-selling album of all time, with more than 100 million copies worldwide.

The public first knew him in the late 1960s, when as a boy he was the precocious, spinning lead singer of the Jackson 5, the music group he formed with his four older brothers. Among their No. 1 hits were "I Want You Back," "ABC," and "I'll Be There."

He was perhaps the most exciting performer of his generation, known for his feverish, crotch-grabbing dance moves and his high-pitched voice punctuated with squeals and titters. His single sequined glove, tight, military-style jacket and aviator sunglasses were trademarks second only to his ever-changing, surgically altered appearance.

"For Michael to be taken away from us so suddenly at such a young age, I just don't have the words," said Quincy Jones, who produced "Thriller." "He was the consummate entertainer and his contributions and legacy will be felt upon the world forever. I've lost my little brother today, and part of my soul has gone with him."

Jackson ranked alongside Elvis Presley and the Beatles as the biggest pop sensations of all time. In fact, he united two of music's biggest names when he was briefly married to Presley's daughter, Lisa Marie.

But as years went by, Jackson became an increasingly freakish figure — a middle-aged man-child weirdly out of touch with grown-up life. His skin became lighter, his nose narrower, and he spoke in a breathy, girlish voice. He surrounded himself with children at his Neverland ranch, often wore a germ mask while traveling and kept a pet chimpanzee named Bubbles as one of his closest companions.

In 2005, he was cleared of charges he molested a 13-year-old cancer survivor at Neverland in 2003. He had been accused of plying the boy with alcohol and groping him. The case took a fearsome toll on his career and image, and he fell into serious financial trouble.

Jackson was preparing for what was to be his greatest comeback: He was scheduled for an unprecedented 50 shows at a London arena, with the first set for July 13. He was in rehearsals in Los Angeles for the concert, an extravaganza that was to capture the classic Jackson magic: showstopping dance moves, elaborate staging and throbbing dance beats.

Singer Dionne Warwick said: "Michael was a friend and undoubtedly one of the world's greatest entertainers that I fortunately had the pleasure of working with........we have lost an icon in our industry."

Hundreds of people gathered outside the hospital as word of his death spread. The emergency entrance at the UCLA Medical Center, which is near Jackson's rented home, was roped off with police tape.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Michael Jackson has just died," a woman boarding a Manhattan bus called out, shortly after the news was announced. Immediately many riders reached for their cell phones.

In New York's Times Square, a low groan went up in the crowd when a screen flashed that Jackson had died, and people began relaying the news to friends by cell phone.

"No joke. King of Pop is no more. Wow," Michael Harris, 36, of New York City, read from a text message a friend sent to his telephone. "It's like when Kennedy was assassinated. I will always remember being in Times Square when Michael Jackson died."

Yo I am back..

Went back to Penang with my family & Bee to celebrate

recently has been job-less *worry*

23 Aug bee bring me to Marine watch the fire work.. OMG its very very nice.. Today i will blog about The Bug Life

Today when i went home i take 25, i saw a bug laying on the floor with 1
leg injure.. everybody was just looking at the bug and NOBODY want to
go help the bug..

Something cross my mind how can human so heart-less??
Even a big guy stand in font of the bug he also never help him/her.. That
guy just stand there and see the bug letting people kick here and there..
So many people saw the bug but nobody wanted to lent the bug a
helping hand.. some of the people just scare throwing they face to help
a bug cause others may think he is crazy..

BUT

When the moment i saw the bug i decided when i get down the bus i will
bring him/her down also but only after 3 stop i saw a lot off people
coming up so i fast keep my psp and prepare a tissues to pick the bug
up and put inside my sweet pack..

When i went back to sit the lady beside me was like
"OMG, this girl must be crazy.. Can You please don't sit beside me.."
but too bad i just wont bother.. Can say the whole bus people was looking
at me.. But people who know me well know that i like animal..

Human only will help human but not the animals..
No matter what if you see the animals need your help Pls help out..
They are just harmless to you all..

Yesterday morning give Bee a surprise.. Early in the morning while he haven really wake up yet get a surprise for him.. He seem so happy when he saw the surprise.. Hope you like the present.. After that went to orch to get our stuff.. 1st go to cine to make his watch at city chan.. So funny that day i brought the watch the sale person forget to take the tag bar out than ytd i ask that sale person help me take out than she was like OMG how come they never take out than she was like so peisei than give us a free city chan clearing wiper(dont know you all understand ma) after that I brought myself 3 shirt and pack of 2 sweets and he brought himself 2 t-shirt and 1 3-quart(dont know i spell correct ma).. hahaha Quite a happy day..

At night when i going home i borad 132 than when i borad the bus the bus uncle was like giving me a evil smile.. I was like so scare.. Than i dont dare look into the mirror.. after a while the uncle start to talk to me.. I was like dots.. At that moment i was hopping someone would talk to me longer or give me a call cause i was so scare.. but what a dispointment.. when i reach my house bus stop i pretend i never press the bell than i sit there until he open the door than i run out.. than i reach home some though cross my mind which make me cry when i bath and sleep.. damn it.. i hate this kind of things sia..

Yesterday was my mum birthday.. When to Por Kee eating house resturance to eat which located at Poh Seng road.. i also dont knwo what road is that.. hahahah quite nice food which cost my elder sis 500+bucks.. Its so expensive but there is a total 12 of us.. Not too bad.. Finally have time to update.. hahahaha

yesterday after school bee and me went to PS for movie (The Hell Boy 2) was a good show.. After that both of us rush for the MRT cause after our show is around 11+.. when on my way to MRT i saw a Malay guy fell down.. OMG his sound was so loud that everybody was looking at him.. so peisei sia.. hahaha

Today went to watch The Dark Knight(Badman) It was a really nice show.. The car, The Bike, The out fit is very very cool and nice.. I LOVE BADMAN.. everybody shouldn't miss it.. Today while browser the GV web site for the Badman time schedule, i saw all the time schedule after 5pm all was almost fully booked.. Everybody was catching THE DARK KNIGHT today..

SundaY wake up at 7am.. went bee house to have breakfast than head down to Alexandra Hospital Park around 915am.. Bee saw some rain drops on the bus glass, we was like OMG is it going to rain again?? But no worry at the end never rain but the Ahgong Sun never come out.. -_-ll After AH Park we take bus down to Botanic Ground.. The ground is really very big.. We saw some dogs that is very cute and the leg very short.. hahaha Both of us having fun over there.. But while playing i think we lost our way so bee keep on EXPOLE the map.. hahaha Finally we get ourselves out of Botanic Ground than we went to Far East to have CJ for our lunch.. after there we went home..

Went to Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom at Sentosa with Bee.. It was a great trip.. i can see alot of nice butterfly.. While Bee was busy taking photo i will look out for butterfly which is landed on a flower or floor.. hahaha When we first enter the park we saw parrot.. they are very beautiful.. so i decide to ask Bee help me take photo with one of the parrot.. His name is Tom..

Early in the morning reach school at 9am cause i thought Assignment starts at 9am but is start at 10am.. hais.. So i call Onion n tell him this stupid things.. while talking to him i saw pooh victor n andy.. tell them my stoopid things agian they say "you everytime not come early than is come later.. everytime so blur 1 u dont know ma??" T_T sad.. hahhaa take lift down to level 1 n call onion again while talking to him my tears started to drop.. no worry not onion make me cry.. stupid me huh.. because of small things tear drop down.. Wendy u r a baby.. Happy to c a sms that i wanted to c.. thanx thanx..

After NYP talk went to work.. Michele n jason for acc me to work.. today is the same.. having my throat-ache, headache, running-nose.. running nose cause my voice too change.. O MY GOD..

One day got a American Man and A Chinese woman who does not know how to speak english gets marry.. After the marry the chinese woman need follow her husband back to America.. 1 day his husband was hungry so he ask his wife help him buy food..

Husband: "Wife, can you please help me go buy a packet of chicken leg rice??"
Wife: "ok"

The wife went to the chicken rice stall but the wife doesn't know how to spreak english so she point at "the chicken n than she piont at her leg".. the stall man understand what she want.. so she succefully brought a packet of chicken leg rice back.. The next days the husband ask his wife help him buy "chicken breast rice".. the wife when to the stall n pointed at "the chicken n her breast".. the stall man know what she wants and she went back home..

The next day husband ask his wife go buy "hot dog".. The wife went to super market and she went to a sale person.. no matter how she explain to the sale person. the sales person still dont get what the wife wants to buy.. the wife was so angry that she went home n bring her husband to the super market n find the sale person...

ok now.. Guess what is the next step the wife will do??? faster think..

hihi everyone, i am here to blog again.. hahaha.. LAME -_-ll

This few days dont know why so blur.. keep on knock onto things.. Ouch.. its hurt.. hais.. T_T ytd went out with my big sis to buy my new year clothes.. do some stupid thing at Marine Square.. i never saw there is thing on the floor than i go kick it.. damn it.. i almost fall down sia.. damn peisei.. alot of ppl looking at me.. hahaha ytd went into a shop i quite angry.. i take 2 shirt that is quite long.. the unlce say to me "ermm, this shirt abit small in size, i dont think you can wear" i was like damn it "see small me" cause i was wearing my red jacket which make me look very fat.. than i went into the fitting room to change the shirt.. the shirt fit me lo.. and it still quite loose.. the uncle is like "o.. i am sorry".. damn it.. idiot uncle.. hahahaha than on our way back to MRT i saw my 4th ex-bf working at Puma shop.. my 1st reaction is like "O MY GOD why i saw him??" lol.. than i ask my sis walk faster.. My sis is like what is there to avoid.. hahaha

Today morning when i finish bathing i come out of the bath room almost fainted.. heng i lay on the wall otherwise i confirm faint backward.. Is very scary.. Hope it wont happen again.. hais..

This few days mood also is like here n there.. not really very happy.. but very happy to hear my boy say something to me.. heehee Today very tired but quite happy cause i am the 1st to do finish my Rihno.. YeAh!! Wendy JiaYou.. hahaha Stupid me!!!

Today got 4hr break so we decided to go bugis shop cause jl need go buy her frenz's de present + we also go shop for our new year clothes.. When reach there i having headache + stomach not feeling well but never tell them cause they are very happy cause can go shopping.. hahaha Jl get me a Levi's long sleeve shirt for my bithday present.. its cost her $50+.. its too expensive.. THANX LAOPO.. i have try a white long sleeve shirt n a jeans also from levi's but dont know nice anot.. but the white long sleeve shirt i abit cant wear cause my breast too big so there will be a hole when i wear it.. T_T the sale gal there say "like this you can wear a nicer bra too show off".. hahaha lol.. funny person..

Feeling For This Year
This year is going to end.. Let me count still have how many days 1 2 3 4 5 6 ... 15days to 010108.. Should i say is good or should i say is bad?? This year happen alot of things.. Have good n bad but too bad for me most of it is bad.. Alot of misunderstanding, Alot of truth, Alot of lies, Alot of alot of alot of things cannot be describe.. Is life always like this?? Maybe only happen at another part of your life when you reach a age there happen to let you see everything so clearly.. I have done alot of stupid thing this year but dont know why my blur-ness and goong-ness cannot be improve.. T_T But atleast i have learn somethings this year.. This year too many shocking new too many unbelieve-ble things that cannot make me believe.. Congrate me cause this year i only do 1 thing regret.. Yeah Yeah!!
